Update release on the HÉV pack, future of my addons

Hey everybody, welcome in 2026!

I've been working on fixing many old BVE/Hmmsim addons in the past weeks, and now I would like to inform you that 11 years after the last release, the MÁV HÉV pack for OpenBVE just received an update!

This new release fixes most of the issues occurring with the newer openBVE versions. The new build adds the most common UTF-8 with BOM encoding to the routes and fully reworked sounds/physics for the LEW MX train. I hope you'll love to see and drive the refurbished trains on the patched lines!

I know that there are still some minor errors present with several objects (mostly with invalid rotation angles and transparency issues on the H6 line), but the routes themselves got corrected and they got ready to get improved from now on.

In August 2026, Hmmsim 2 by Jemin Hwang got upgraded to Hmmsim Legacy and a brand new game called MobileBVE arrived by Skyler Stream. Since January 2026 my primary smartphone is a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 12/1024 GB that replaced my old Galaxy S22 Ultra 12/256 GB and now I use both games on my new phone, and these BVE on the go gave me an inspiration on getting back to BVE addon development and I started converting the legacy Hmmsim addons again to make them correctly compatible with the new Hmmsim/MobileBVE builds as well. This is going to take long, but expect many updates arriving on my BVE addons soon!
